Gian Atma Karina Guimaraes

Gian Atma Karina is a kundalini yoga student, teacher, and reiki master who focuses on all aspects of health: healthy mind, healthy body and a healthy soul. She has studied kundalini yoga with Shiva Rea, Hala Khoury and Kundalini Yoga with Gurmukh and Gurushabad. Karina's intention is to share with students and clients the vitality these tools can bring so they are able to bring forth into the world their unique light and gifts.


Siri Marka Khalsa

Inspired to serve and learn from his teacher, Yogi Bhajan, Siri Marka taught his first Kundalini Yoga class over 45 years ago.

With a smile and a grace he delivers vigorous and heart opening yoga kriyas and meditations from Yogi Bhajan’s original weekly classes. Siri Marka is known to speak with joy and from the heart. As a KRI certified Lead Trainer for Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainings he  is the host of many trainings every year, from here in Santa Monica, Eagle Rock, the South Bay and Latin America to share the teachings. He has been featured several times on Univision sharing the benefits of KY with farmworkers to business people.


When he is not teaching, he keeps fit by running the L.A. Marathon, which he has done for the last 17 years. You can also see him as a Yogic Coach and Counselor in his Beverly Hills office. With love, humor and a dose of truth, Siri Marka will help propel you the next level in your spiritual evolution.


Siri Simran Khalsa

Siri Simran Khalsa is a yogi, healer and teacher of meditation in the ancient healing traditions of Kundalini Yoga and Sat Nam Rasayan. She is also a White Tantric Yoga facilitator. 

For more than 18 years Siri Simran has studied Sat Nam Rasayan under the direct tutelage of Guru Dev Singh, the master of this ancient healing art.

She holds a Level 3 certification in Sat Nam Rasayan. She was also certified in Kundalini Yoga by Yogi Bhajan personally.
As the first baby of 3HO, she has been practicing Kundalini Yoga since early childhood when she first met Yogi Bhajan in January of 1969. She traveled with Yogi Bhajan, the teacher renowned for introducing Kundalini yoga to the public, for eleven years serving with devotion as his full-time assistant.
During that time period she attended every meditation class he taught. As a result, Siri Simran has accumulated a deep and broad knowledge of Kundalini Yoga.
Besides teaching and healing, for the past 18 years she has had the most joyful and fulfilling experience of raising her wonderful son.
Based in Los Angeles, she teaches locally and worldwide.
She is passionate about the powerful effects of Sat Nam Rasayan® and Kundalini yoga.


Har Simran Kaur Khalsa

A native of North Carolina, HarSimran Khalsa started practicing Kundalini Yoga in 1980. Over decades of daily practice, she gratefully testifies to less stress, more joy, speedier recovery from all types of upsets, a clearer and more loving relationship with her Self, and more consistent and deeper connection with Spirit. Living in Los Angeles with her husband since 1983, HarSimran attended many of Yogi Bhajan's twice-weekly live classes and served in his personal household. HarSimran became a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor in 2003. Teaching Kundalini Yoga is part of her life's fulfillment. Her style features clarity, gentleness and humor.


Shehera Seva Chandra

Shehera (Seva Chandra) is a certified Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher. In her own healing journey, she discovered herself through Kundalini Yoga and sees it as the fastest path to awakening the consciousness and opening the heart. Her heart-centered, integrative approach carries into her teachings and aims to address the range of physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual and environmental influences that affect health, happiness, and vitality. She intuitively curates each class to guide her students to disentangle from cycles of insecurity, fear, and self-imposed limitations and connects them to the limitless nature they were born to live.  

Shehera has studied various forms of bodywork, nutrition and healing arts since 2012 which she skillfully integrates into her classes. She holds a Reiki Master certificate and is trained as a Certified Nutrition Health Coach.


Eda Ozsoy

Eda Ozsoy is a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. She started her journey in 2014 and she immediately fell in love with this beautiful practice. She gradually built up her energy and strength and started living life with more flow, ease, and fun.

Her intention is to open a space for beginners and share the practical kriyas, postures and meditations to quickly raise the frequency and feel elevated.

In her classes she will use sound current, mantra, chanting, singing to open the door to deeper connection to the self.

“If you master the sound current, you master the sound - that is, you master God”- Yogi Bhajan.


Kia Dharam Atma

Kia Dharam Atma started practicing yoga in 1999 in the French Pyrenees while on a retreat in  La Val Dieu (The Valley Of God). Under the instruction of her first teacher Bridget Manor, a deep love for the science of Kundalini Yoga was instilled and forever changed her life. She received her certification in Kundalini Yoga in 2004, after taking the last teacher Training "Master Touch" with Yogi Bhajan. After this she went on to get her certification to teach family yoga from Karma Kids in 2011. Before moving to Los Angeles four years ago, she taught regular yoga and workshops in Grenada where she owns a boutique hotel called Caribbean Cottage Club.  

After completing a one year acting course intensive at the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory, she became impassioned to apply the technology of Kundalini Yoga to help actors reach peak creativity, concentration and self expression. Kia is also a native Italian who is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. 


Dharam Dev Kaur Khalsa

Dharam Dev Kaur Khalsa is a licensed Marriage, Family and Child Counselor practicing in Beverly Hills for over 32 years. She is a co-founder, Lead Teacher Trainer, and Director of Teacher Trainings at Kundalini Yoga by the Sea in Santa Monica.  She facilitates both Level One and Level Two Teacher Training courses with her husband, Siri Marka. Incorporating the best of eastern and western modalities, she facilitates her students in expanding their consciousness and realizing their highest potential. With a heart forever young, she relates to the new generation of truth seekers and expresses the deepest wisdom of Yogi Bhajan PhD’s Teachings in the simplest language. Through compassion and humor, she delivers the ancient technology of Kundalini Yoga in a friendly and joyous manner. Presently she teaches three times weekly and runs ongoing groups on various topics such as “Grieve with Grace,” “What Sparks Joy,” and “Sacred Secrets of Success.” 


Nicholas Petricca

Co-founder Nicholas Petricca discovered Kundalini Yoga in 2016 and was immediately drawn to the vibrational quality of the practice. It felt as familiar and healing as his life's work in music. Nicholas, a singer and keyboardist, formed the American rock band WALK THE MOON, which is known for its onstage interactive performances as a celebration of life and love, a communal commitment to joy and living in the moment. Nicholas is currently studying to be a Kundalini teacher as part of KYBTS’s Level 1 Teacher Training program.


Premdev Kaur

Premdev Kaur is IKYTA-certified and has been teaching Kundalini Yoga for 20 years in the Southern CA area. She is also a certified Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga teacher and a certified Birth Doula. She loves including her 30” Symphonic Gong in the ending deep relaxation of her classes; she’s known for her gong journeys. “It’s an honor to teach at KYBTS— hope to see you soon!”


Ava Sunderta Kaur

Ava (Sunderta Kaur) is a Level 1 certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor with a passion for healing and guiding her students to connect to their own infinite self. Ava has been practicing yoga regularly for the last 7 years, and 4 years ago was drawn to Kundalini and immediately fell in love with the practice as it helped her move through her own blocks and step into a life that is full of miracles and synchronicity and so she knew she wanted to help others do the same. Her classes are targeted towards releasing old patterns that are no longer serving us, manifesting our goals and healing the pain of the past, as well as releasing stress, calming the mind and becoming non-reactive. 
Her teaching style can vary from soothing and meditative to vigorous and physical depending on the students' needs at that time. Ava has experience with teaching larger groups as well as individual students and loves being a channel of spirit for her students.


Guru Amrit Hari Kaur Khalsa

For as long as she can remember, Kundalini Yoga and Sri
Singh Sahib (Yoga Bhajan) have been a part of Guru Amrit Hari's life. She was born and raised as a Sikh and from a very early age she started practicing yoga and meditation with her parents, grandparents and Siri
Singh Sahib himself. When she was a child she didn’t think this was anything out of the ordinary
because it was all that she had known and it wasn’t until I reached she teenage years that she started
developing her own sadhana and truly developing a personal connection with the yogic lifestyle.
After graduating Miri Piri Academy she returned as a staff member and teacher and was given the
opportunity to work with the teens in developing positive self- image and personal discipline through the practice of kundalini yoga. For six years she was able to teach yoga, meditation and yogic lifestyle along with teachers training level one and many of the modules of level two.
These years have shown her the power this lifestyle has in changing one’s life and no matter the age, meditation gives one the opportunity to free themselves from the habits and memories that hold them back.


Shanti Kamal Kaur

Shanti Kamal (Mary Haberski) s an internationally celebrated, LA based yoga teacher and healer who has been studying the art and science of yoga and meditation for more years of her life than not, in multiple disciplines. She is KRI certified in Kundalini Yoga and meditation along with Yoga Alliance certification in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. 


Satya Anand Kaur

My approach to every class is to honor the bond we share as a community, honor each of us as individuals moving through our own struggles and victories, and to honor the integrity of the teachings so that we may benefit to the fullest and embrace our best selves. My spiritual name is Satya Anand, which means “truth bliss”. Truth is the essence of existence, and when we live in Truth, we can experience bliss in all it’s forms; subtle and large, small and bold. I started practicing Kundalini Yoga and Meditation in 1999 and am a KRI certified Instructor. I’m a licensed acupuncturist since 2008 and I bring great love and care, guidance and playfulness to every class.

Sharon Kirti Jodha

Sharon Kirti Jodha is a certified sound healer and Kundalini Yoga instructor. Through her own experience dealing with stress and anxiety, she has found that they can be managed successfully through the tools of Kundalini Yoga and sound current. Using meditation, chanting, mantras, the primordial sounds of the universe, and the wisdom of the teachers who have come before — she shares usable tools with others to support them in remembering their essential selves. Sharon Kirti Jodha believes everyone can tap into their own greatness and healing that resides within them, and that all possibilities are open to be discovered.

Rima Thierry

Rima, is an RYT-200, RPYT, and Birth Doula  who has a joyful spirit and a deep love for pregnancy, birthing, and motherhood.  She aspires to guide women deeper into their bodies and souls- connecting them with their babies and laying a foundation for a relaxed, manageable, and mindful birth.  

As a mother of four, Rima has experienced first hand the power of prenatal yoga.  Every class includes poses mamas can use during labor and birth, partnered with mantra and traditional wisdom that builds confidence and understanding during the birthing process.  She seeks to create a healing, inspiring and supportive environment for women at all stages of their pregnancy.

Dyal Bhajan (Jason)

Jason (Dyal Bhajan) is a KRI Certified Instructor of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation with a passion for positive growth and change. As a musician, Jason has many years composing, performing, recording, and teaching. You will often experience live music at his classes . . . and hopefully you’ll even join in. Through the teachings of Yogi Bhajan, Jason focuses on connecting with our infinite selves and our loving and creative nature to push past the blocks that hold us back.

Savitri Jaap 

Maya has a passion for helping people be their best self and reach their dreams.
Her passion for helping people release stress and live the life they dream of has grown tremendously since she saw how fast paced life in LA could be.
She discovered Kundali yoga and meditation and realized that this ancient practice can help people reach their highest potential.
Her classes are focused on centering, heart opening and stress release so that everyone can manifest their best life.

Tej Kriya

Tej Kriya (Robin) is a Los Angeles native (yes, they exist) who runs a healthcare software business. Robin
has a strong background in teaching martial arts and also enjoys many hobbies such as running, salsa
dancing, writing and eating good food. As a person in pursuit of many endeavors, Robin leans on
Kundalini yoga to deliver his commitments daily and is very excited to help others deliver their power to their daily lives.
Robin has a gentle way of easing beginners into Kundalini Yoga and will also push those with experience
to stretch their goals and advance through to higher levels. In Robin’s classes, he will deliver to you the
teachings of Yogi Bhajan, with focus on proper alignment and quality Kundalini techniques to empower
your mind, body and soul on a cellular level.


Dawn & Greogoire

Dawn and Gregoire traveled across continents to bring mindfulness, yogic tools, as well as environmental and social advocacy to children. They teach every Tuesday at 4:00pm at Kundalini Yoga by the Sea. Embracing different teachings (Kundalini Yoga, Thich Nhat Hanh, Western and Eastern Sciences) they consider our relationships to self, to others and to Nature as the highest teachers. Combining music, positive affirmations and creative expression for self discovery is an integral part of their curriculum. Both being experienced educators they also have Yoga4Kids (Suzie Manson, South-Africa) and Yoga for Youth certifications (Krishna Kaur, Los Angeles). 


Hari Narayan Kaur Khalsa

Hari Narayan teaches Kundalini yoga in a compassionate and encouraging way. She challenges students to help them find their strength of their spirit and the courage to listen to their heart. She imparts her love for the practice and her experiences with infinite gratitude to her teachers: Tej Kaur Khalsa , Harijiwan Singh Khalsa, and Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa. She allows the teachings of the Master Yogi Bhajan guide her and as she holds the space for the healing to happen. Hari Narayan is KRI certified teacher since 2004 and continues her studies of Kundalini Yoga through classes, workshops, and Level 2 Teacher Trainings. Hari Narayan carries White Butterfly Medicine through the profound Shaman, Eagle Woman. She is the creator of Heart Potions, offering: Healing Facials, Raindrop treatments, aromatherapy perfumes and handmade skincare.


Naader Bhadori

Naader hails from right here in Los Angeles, California where he was born and raised. He has been practicing yoga and meditation since 2013 shortly after experiencing spiritual awakening. After stumbling into a Guru Singh tent by “accident” at the yoga/music festival “Lightning in a Bottle”, he fell in love with the practice of Kundalini Yoga and the way it awakens and profoundly connects the spirit, body, and mind. He teaches to spread the science of Kundalini yoga to those wish activate their higher consciousness and to do the inner work and clear subconscious programs and live happily in our dharma.


Priya Arvind

The name Priya Arvind is the embodiment of balance between the heavens and the Earth, much as the lotus flower cannot grow without the mud. Priya brings this balance into her classes at KYBTS and Meditation classes at Homeboy Inc. with ex-gang members; integrating the practices of equanimity, compassion, and forgiveness.


Adi Rajdeva

Adi Rajdeva is a Certified Level 1 IKYTA Kundalini Instructor. She is also a full time SAHM who recently gave birth to her 2nd daughter. Tiffany spent many years practicing yoga but it wasn’t until she discovered Kundalini Yoga by the Sea that she found her soul purpose. She spent her last 5 months of pregnancy in the Teacher Training course and even went into labor (her water broke!) during her final requirement, a 2.5 hr long chanting session at 4am. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, studied Architecture and Buddhism at UCLA, and hopes to bring the spirit of loving kindness into her classes.


Dyal Raj

Dyal Raj Kaur (Vivian) is a Kundalini Yoga teacher and a Reiki Healer. She began a journey
into yoga and Buddhist Zen Meditation in 2012 while living in NYC. After moving to Chicago in
2016 she took her very first Kundalini Yoga class, which was a surprise in itself. From that
moment on there was a fundamental change within, two months after that first class she dove
whole heartedly into the study of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. In her classes she holds the
space in a compassionate and gentle way, so the students are able to open up, heal and
recognize their full potential. She draws from her own experiences with this powerful practice
that is Kundalini Yoga. Dyal Raj is a teacher and healer, but most importantly a student of life, always looking to serve.

Olga Ananda Taj is a creative director, designer, and artist who fell in love with yoga, meditation, and higher consciousness exploration. In each class, she creates a safe and inclusive space for inviting and nurturing the flow of the creative Kundalini energy to quiet our minds, connect with the universal consciousness, and embrace boundless creativity. She cultivates loving-kindness, compassion, and pure awareness in her teaching.

Jess Lakin

Jess Lakin, IKYTA, YA - 200, DClinPsy (UK), has a nurturing and joyful spirit, and a deep passion for supporting children, families and women through yogic practices.

Originally from UK, where she worked as a Child & Family Clinical Psychologist for a decade and a half, Jess is experienced in understanding the dynamics of family life. Moving to California in 2014 and discovering Kundalini Yoga initiated a powerful journey of personal transformation. The benefits she experienced from her own practice immediately sparked her interest. She qualified as a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher in 2016, as a Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga Teacher in 2017 and her on-going studies extend into consciousness practices of the body, heart and mind. In addition to teaching yoga, she now works as a Holistic Life Coach, Reiki Practitioner/Teacher and Sound Healer.

Understanding some of the key issues and challenges which face families, Jess’s parent classes provide a supportive and empowering space for parents to recharge body and mind, to recenter, to deepen into their wisdom and to connect to others in their community. Her classes can be being soothing and meditative, and more physically energetic. She frequently incorporates relaxation practices and sound immersions during her classes.
